“Follow That Motherf***er”: Logan Paul Reveals “Motivation” He Got Minutes Before His Royal Rumble Match

The 2024 Royal Rumble was a treat for the fans. While there were may moments that stole the show, fans were eagerly waiting to see Logan Paul go toe-to-toe with Kevin Owens. Fans saw Logan Paul defend his United States Championship title against Kevin Owens. While Owens is one ruthless fighter inside the ring, one needs special motivation to take the Prize Fighter down. Logan Paul revealed how he got the motivation from the strangest of places right before the big showdown.

Logan Paul gets some motivation from the Wiseman

Talking on the latest episode of his podcast, IMPAULSIVE, The Maverick talked about how he received motivation from Paul Heyman right before his fight with Owens. Paul recounted that Heyman, Reigns, Knight, Orton, & Styles were returning to the gorilla after their Fatal-4-way match. As the internet celebrity stated, “Paul Heyman after the match comes out and everyone is like chest out they just knew they blew the f**king roof off with Roman (Reigns).”

Paul then stated that The Wiseman called him and said, “Come here son, you want some motivation?” An excited Logan Paul stated “Yes.” To this Heyman replied, “Follow that motherf***er”, probably referring to Kevin Owens. Looks like Heyman’s motivation did wonders for him as he is still the reigning WWE United States Champion.

What followed next was both the stars giving their all inside the ring. While Paul did receive some help from the outside, things quickly took a U-turn. At the end of the day, Paul was able to keep his title after suffering a minor hiccup.

While Paul talked about his uncanny encounter with Paul Heyman, he also talked about how he feels about Kevin Owens.

When talking about Owens on his podcast, Paul said, “ I underestimated him but I was playing chess and he was playing checkers.” Why would Logan Paul say that? Well according to the champion, Owens has left his fingerprints on his chest and shoulder with all that hard chops and hittings.

He also added that Owens is a ruthless pro wrestler. While Paul has been a part-timer, his recent full-time status might help him to adapt better to Owens in the future. It was reported that he received his full-time contract from WWE just a few weeks before the Royal Rumble.
