Brock Lesnar brought the house down on WWE SmackDown two weeks ago. Not only did he attack Roman Reigns on SmackDown, he even took out the WWE officials. However, WWE punished this action severely by giving Lesnar a fine of $1 Million. His former advocate, Paul Heyman, recently commented on this incident.
Paul Heyman’s relationship with Brock Lesnar is a secret to none. Heyman has managed a long list of WWE superstars over the years, but Brock Lesnar tops that list. However, Heyman is now the Special Counsel to The Tribal Chief.
Recently, Heyman appeared on WWE’s The Bump to share his thoughts on Brock Lesnar getting fined by WWE.

During the interview, Kayla Braxton smartly asked Heyman whether he was concerned that the money of Brock Lesnar’s fine will come out of his cheque. But we all know how smart Heyman is. He said, “I am not paid by Brock Lesnar. Nice try. I am not concerned that Brock Lesnar can afford to pay the million dollars. My concern is for SmackDown. From whose a*s does Brock Lesnar pull that million dollars?”
Heyman claimed Lesnar’s return at SummerSlam not only surprised the WWE universe, but it also surprised him and The Tribal Chief.
“What did everyone expect was going to happen when Brock Lesnar appears on SmackDown? We gotta have just bunch of smiles, handshakes, kissing a bunch of babies? Come on, he is Brock Lesnar. He is the Beast. That’s the box office attraction about Brock Lesnar,” Heyman added.

Did Paul Heyman want Brock Lesnar to win at the Crown Jewel PPV
Though Roman Reigns emerged victoriously at the Crown Jewel PPV, it might not have been what his special counsel, Paul Heyman, wanted. Towards the end of the match when both Brock and Reigns were down, Heyman threw the WWE Universal Championship in the ring.
Interestingly, he threw it in the middle of the ring rather than throwing it directly to Roman Reigns. It could have cost Reigns the match as Brock Lesnar got a hold of the title following a tug of war between the two wrestlers. But thanks to The USOs, Reigns defeated Lesnar to retain the WWE Universal Championship.

Also, prior to the Crown Jewel PPV, WWE on Fox put up a post on their Instagram handle asking “Who’s side is Paul Heyman on: Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns?”
Heyman reposted it and claimed Lesnar to be the Beast, the Conqueror, and the most dominant athlete in the history of WWE and UFC. Whereas he just mentioned Roman Reigns as the WWE Universal Champion.

This rivalry between Reigns and Lesnar is far from over. Lesnar showed he was hungry for revenge as he viciously attacked Reigns and WWE officials two weeks ago on SmackDown. Even though that led to Lesnar getting temporarily suspended, we will definitely see Reigns and Lesnar going head-to-head once again in the ring.
