We are just days away from one of the biggest nights in the history of WWE, WrestleMania XL. This time, things have taken a personal turn with families being involved. It all started when Dwayne Johnson decided to walk in and was about to take Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania 40 spot. He was met with massive criticism and since then he is not been kind to fans.

Johnson’s promos since he joined the Bloodline have been brutal. But it is hard to believe for fans that someone who once wanted to go against Roman Reigns decided to side with him so easily. Well, WrestleMania 40 might be the beginning of a new rivalry for Roman Reigns.

In a conversation with Pat McAfee on his talk show, the Tribal Chief said something that might raise a few eyebrows. While talking about how Cody Rhodes robbed fans of one of the greatest fights of the century, Reigns told who would have emerged victorious in the battle between him and Johnson. He said, “I beat the Rock. Ain’t nobody ever questioning what I’ve done here. And Cody took that from me.”

He then gave the example of the Usos stating that the family has always tried to resolve things inside the ring. However, this is one bold statement from Reigns. However, it is clear that he could easily beat Johnson, which might have added more trouble for him. For those who are unaware, Johnson returned to WWE on Raw Day 1 on January 1, 2024. After getting into an altercation with Jinder Mahal, the Brahma Bull indirectly stated that he would be going after Roman Reigns.

However, due to the ongoing storyline, he decided to side with him and fight Cody Rhodes instead. But considering the complexity of storylines lately, it is highly possible that Johnson might still be eyeing the chair of the Head of the Table.

However, during the interview, he made another statement that might indicate the fall of the Brotherhood.

The Fall of the Bloodline

Johnson is called the most electrifying man in entertainment history and his return to WWE has made things more interesting. However, things might not be looking good for Reigns. On the March 1, 2024, episode of SmackDown, Reigns was not getting the pop he deserved. However, when his cousin walked in, the audience was not able to control themselves and were cheering loudly. This did make Reigns a little jealous. While talking with Pat McAfee, he reminded everyone about his contributions to WWE. He said, “I put my family on my back. I put this company on my back.”

Talking about the Bloodline, he said, “Why not, you know what I mean, share the spotlight? Why not make everybody better? And that’s, I mean, these four years are testament to it. We’re the greatest truth. We’re the best.” While Reigns had been selfish when it came to defending his title, he worked for the betterment of his brothers. Johnson’s inclusion might cause friction between them as he might become a bit selfish in his pursuit to defeat Rhodes. Due to this, he might end up compromising Solo Sikoa or Jimmy Uso and might eventually kick off the feud between the two.
