This amazing gesture started way back in 2003 and many major names from WWE have gone on and performed for their heroes. WWE legend The Undertaker was no different as he also dazzled the armed troops with his matches in the past.

The Phenom is widely regarded as one of the most decorated wrestlers to ever grace the squared circle. His displays for the armed troops in the past would surely have brought a smile to the real heroes. The Undertaker has always been open about his affection for the sacrifices made by war veterans in the past.
A heartfelt tribute from The Undertaker
In a 2018 post on Instagram, he let his inner feelings known to all. He made a fitting tribute to the warriors who had laid their lives for the homeland. The post included the image of a coffin and the caption for the post read “For those who served our country and for those who have served and paid the ultimate price for our freedom. May GOD bless you all!! Thank you Veterans!!

Ever since his debut in the 1990 Survivor Series, The Undertaker has portrayed a supernatural persona. This was with the exception of The American Badass persona and The Big Evil persona between the 2001-2004 period. Hence, it would have been a surreal experience for his fans when he showed his humane side to honor the fallen heroes.
Three decades of greatness
In a career that spanned three decades, The Undertaker earned the respect of one and all. His tremendous character work along with his unending arsenal of moves left the wrestling fans speechless on most occasions. Who could forget his iconic feuds with kayfabe brother Kane that captured the imagination of many?
He would embark on a record-breaking streak which saw him remain undefeated in the annual showpiece WrestleMania for 21 years. The streak would eventually be broken by The ‘Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar in 2014, to the collective shock of the world.

The Phenom with his heartfelt tribute to the war heroes displayed a rarely seen side of him. His appreciation for the selfless work of the troops stationed around the globe won many hearts. The Undertaker might have been a mystical persona, but his tribute proved that Mark Calaway was a human after all. A human with a heart of gold.
