“Overrated and Overhyped” – Former WWE Champion Makes Controversial Statement on Air Jordan’s

Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw came from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN. There the WWE Universe witnessed a showdown between the WWE Hall of Famer Edge and former WWE champion, The Miz on “Miz TV”.

During the segment, The ‘A-Lister’ mentioned the $9000 Air Jordan that Edge was wearing. Following that WWE’s team took to Twitter to ask the audience about whose shoes were better.

To which The Miz took to his Twitter and replied in a controversial way where he dissed the iconic Air Jordans.

As soon as the WWE team tweeted about the comparison between the shoes of Miz and Edge, the former WWE champion took to Twitter and let everybody know what he thinks about Edge.

He wrote that you are comparing a fine wine with a Kool-Aid and the Air Jordan’s that Edge is wearing are just like him: overrated and overhyped.

“Ur kidding….That’s like comparing a fine wine to Kool Aid. Jordan’s are like Edge, overrated and overhyped.” Miz wrote.

The Miz addressed the WWE Universe after Monday Night Raw

The Miz stopped for a quick interview segment on Raw Talk. The former champ addressed that everybody likes Edge and how well he did in the Attitude Era.

However, The Miz categorically stated that he is bigger than the stars of the Attitude Era and that he has outlasted every single being of that generation, claiming he is the biggest superstar of all time.

“I have a different memory of that generation [Attitude Era] of superstar [Edge]. And it’s not very fond, and it seems to me that Edge is one of the only ones left. I’ve outlasted all of them and become the superstar that I am today, which is the biggest star.” he said.

Eventually, Miz and Edge will meet each other on January 1st at the WWE Day 1 PPV. In the past, both the wrestlers have faced each other with Edge always emerging victorious.

However, things are much different now because The Miz has transitioned himself as a seasoned veteran in the company and eventually, looks forward to this match.
