Recently, Dwayne Johnson posted a teaser on Instagram, which contains clips from a new episode in which he is telling the tale of how his parents decided to get married against the approval of his grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia.

Moreover, ‘Young Rock’ is currently on the season two. It’s a hilarious presentation of the extraordinary life of the ‘People’s Champ‘ shedding the light on his struggles and backstories as well.
The previous episode, the seventh of season 2, the major theme is the marriage of his parents. Here, Dwayne Johnson (as himself), narrates how his parents Ata Maivia and Rocky Johnson tied the knot.

In a recent Instagram post, the WWE superstar is promoting the new episode of Young Rock with a teaser. As caption, The Brahma Bull wrote, “TONIGHT’s episode of @NBC’s #YoungRock is a story of boy meets girl. My mom and dad met when my dad’s tag team partner was my grandfather – High Chief Peter Maivia. This forced them to keep the beginning of their relationship a secret…until they got caught and my grandparents were FURIOUS and forbid my parents from seeing each other.”

Furthermore, ‘Soulman’ Rocky Johnson was a very accomplished wrestler from the 60s until 1991. Considered a true trailblazer and legend in the industry, he has worked with several promotions and was inducted in 2008 class of Hall of Fame by his son, The Rock.
