Jeff Hardy is going through a rough patch in his life. Last year in June, cops arrested him for DUI, which was his third law break in the past decade. As a result, AEW founder Tony Khan suspended him from his pro wrestling promotion.

Pro wrestling fans are hoping to see The Charismatic Enigma perform inside the squared circle again. But threats are lingering around his wrestling career. On a recent podcast episode, Matt Hardy spoke about his brother’s future in pro wrestling.

In The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy #61, Matt Hardy sat down with Jon Alba for a virtual interview. In this interview, the former opened up about his brother’s life struggle. From his addiction battle to his arrest, the WWE legend gave the fans an insight into his brother’s traumatic phase of life.

During a point in the interview, a statement involving the Enigmatic Soul’s potential return to the ring popped up. Addressing this statement, the former WWE United States Champion said that as of now, there is no solid say on the matter of his brother’s return.

He stated, “That hasn’t been talked about. Will it happen? I mean, maybe. Will it happen? Maybe not. I don’t know, but that hasn’t been something that’s been talked about at all at this point.”

“It certainly wasn’t going to be, like, his court case gets done. He shows right back up on AEW Dynamite. That’s one thing I can guarantee you that isn’t going to happen tonight during this match with HOOK.” the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion added.

It looks like the fans will not be getting to see The Charismatic Enigma compete inside the ring in the near future.

During the podcast, the Emmy Award-Winning Sportscaster also talks about how important mental health is for a human being. He stated that if the younger Hardy brother returns to the ring, then it is a really good thing for him. But even if he doesn’t, then it is not the end of the world. Good mental health comes above everything else.
