WrestleMania 34 is memorable for all the wrong reasons, even though it had a ton of glorious moments. Certain moments get lost amidst the main event debacle and the disappointing Styles vs Nakamura dream match. One of these moments was Nia Jax beating Alexa Bliss to become the new Raw Women’s Champion.

Alexa Bliss befriended Jax after the latter failed to win the Royal Rumble. Everyone knew Bliss’ purpose behind the friendship was to avoid Jax from becoming a potential title challenger.
However, Jax heard Bliss and Mickie James berating her backstage, fueling her anger which led to her challenging for Bliss’ title.
With Nia on the warpath to destroy Bliss, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle booked her in a title match with Bliss at WrestleMania 34. Bliss was no match for Jax, who destroyed Alexa on the way to winning the title.

Although Jax was a heel prior to winning the title, her post-match celebration confirmed her face turn. An emotional Nia Jax cried buckets as the referee handed her the Raw Women’s Championship. In the background, we can see Nia’s brothers celebrating their sister’s biggest win.
We might remember WrestleMania 34 for all the wrong reasons, but Nia Jax’s victory is very significant. Unfortunately, she became an afterthought once Ronda Rousey showed up.

The card for WrestleMania 37 is nearly complete, but the Women’s Tag Team Champions might miss out entirely. Jax and Shayna Baszler have defended their titles frequently since they won them back from Asuka and Charlotte Flair in January.
If Jax and Baszler want to make it to the WrestleMania card, they’ll have to find opponents worthy of winning the titles. The Bella Twins are out of the question, and neither is any team from NXT. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke have lost too many times, while Lana and Naomi simply aren’t serious challengers.

One can’t help but wonder how Baszler and Jax will make it to ‘Mania. Unless the Bella Twins make a shocking return, or WWE actually books them against any of Raw’s pipsqueak teams, it looks like Jax and Baszler will miss WrestleMania.
