Last week’s Monday Night RAW saw Cody Rhodes finally landing hands on the returning Brock Lesnar. The American Nightmare was successful in doing what he wanted to do after a defeat at Night of Champions. With ‘The Beast Incarnate’ looming around, a former rival of Rhodes is set to make his WWE return on next week’s RAW episode after eight long years.

This former rival is a Hollywood star and even had a match with the 38-year-old during his first run with WWE. Additionally, this 42-year-old actor also defeated Rhodes previously in WWE.

Amidst feud with Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes has to worry about the return of a former rival

WWE has set the stage for SummerSlam, which is the biggest party of the summer for wrestling fans. Moreover, Cody Rhodes might face Brock Lesnar in a third encounter at SummerSlam after their brawl on RAW. But the former two-time Intercontinental champion may have to face off against his former rival and Arrow actor Stephen Amell.

The 42-year-old recently shared the news on his Facebook feed about the same. He wrote, “Heading to Monday Night Raw in Atlanta on July 17th.” Further, he shared a GIF that quoted, “That’s all wrestling is buddy, it’s just stories”

Next week’s RAW will be the first event of the red brand at Atlanta, Georgia in the last four years from State Farm Arena. Moreover, the State Farm Arena’s website shows ‘The Conqueror’ on RAW’s poster. Hence, we can assume Lesnar and Rhodes would have a segment on the show and Amell might be a part of it.

The last time Amell and Rhodes had a segment together in WWE was in 2015 when The American Nightmare was Stardust. There is no idea will the Arrow actor assist the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble winner or resume their rivalry. The WWE universe also has the same question as they showed in their reactions.
