Richard Branson once said that records are made to be broken. And over all these years in professional wrestling, plenty of records have been made and broken. ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar has set many of these records.

Whether it is becoming the youngest WWE Champion or making the most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble Match, Brock Lesnar has always been the record-setter in WWE. These records can be broken should the creative deem it fit to happen.

However, there is one Brock Lesnar record that stands out from the rest and can never be broken. Wrestling Facts noted that Brock Lesnar got the better of Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and The Undertaker in his first year in WWE (2002).

Flair, Hogan, and The Undertaker are among the all-time greats of the professional wrestling world. Defeating all three of them in a single year is indeed a historic achievement.

Considered as The Next Big Thing in 2002, Lesnar brought destruction inside the squared circle and even defeated The Rock, John Cena, Rikishi, Randy Orton, and other top superstars in his first year in WWE.

Brock Lesnar is one step closer to matching Steve Austin’s Royal Rumble record

Steve Austin is the only superstar who won the Royal Rumble match thrice in his WWE career. The Texas Rattlesnake grabbed his ticket to “The Grandest Stage of Them All” in 1997, 1998, and 2001.

Following Steve Austin is a list of eight individuals who are all tied at two Royal Rumble wins, including Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate is the latest addition to the list after he won the 2022 Men’s Royal Rumble Match.

After losing the WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley, Brock made a shocking entry into the Men’s Royal Rumble Match at number 30. He cleared the ring in no time and eliminated Drew McIntyre to move one step closer to match Steve Austin’s Royal Rumble record.
