During an episode in his Joe Rogan podcast from 2018 alongside Diamond Dallas Page, the American commentator was left stunned. When Page talked about his match against The Hulkster and Eric Bischoff with Jay Leno as his partner, the clip was played. And seeing it, Rogan couldn’t resist but freak out at the sight of what happened between Mr. America and the $600 Million American TV icon.

Rogan said, “Oh, My God, that is so funny. That is hilarious. Oh, that is so funny, Jay Leno was holding the Hulk down. He grabs his hair, oh Jesus Christ! This is so ridiculous.”
Despite being half the size of The Hulkster, the comedian turned host of NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show,’ Leno dared to touch Hulk Hogan. Not only did he pull Hogan’s hair during the match but also defeated the tag team of Bischoff and Hogan by pinning down the former.
Therefore, the nWo members fell to the one whom they managed to convince to come to wrestle, leaving his popular show. Hogan also once recalled an embarrassing incident on the popular talk show showcasing the good rapport they share.
Eric Bischoff and The Hulkster convinced Jay Leno to leave his popular show
During one of the episodes from his 83 weeks podcast, Bischoff detailed the incident when he convinced Leno to wrestle. He asked him if he would wrestle, and the popular host immediately agreed. However, now it was up to Bischoff to pitch a believable storyline that would interest fans.

The WWE legend then came up with the idea of him and Hogan taking over The Tonight Show. Surprisingly, Leno, the host of one of the most-watched shows of that time, agreed to the idea. And what happens next is the well-known history of WCW.
