Edge works Seth Rollins to accept SummerSlam challenge on WWE SmackDown
Edge came out first, and a roaring Tampa crowd welcomed him. The former WWE Champion wasted no time as he said that Seth Rollins’ absence was good for himself because he would have ended up in jail if Seth showed up on the show.
Edge then added he felt like looking in a mirror of the past when he looks at Rollins. The Rated R Superstar stated that this rivalry would not end well for one of them and threatened to end it tonight if only Seth were there.

Seth Rollins then appeared on the big screen as the former WWE Universal Champion started off by laughing at Edge. The Messiah then agreed with Edge’s divulgence about the duo being similar.
But Rollins added that Edge isn’t half the man The Architect is, and that is where the similarities end. He also mocked the WWE Hall of Famer for not having a Plan B as he would always have one, to which Edge replied by saying he has a Plan B.
Edge added his Plan B is to face Seth at Summerslam in a one-on-one match. The fans went wild hearing Edge’s comment as they were excited about the match to happen.
But Rollins asked Edge to cool down a bit and pointed out that he has his fingers wrapped around the WWE legend. He further added that he will be the one to call shots and not The Rated R Superstar. Rollins then asked Edge to think it over twice, as there is a lot at stake for him.
Seth Rollins makes personal comments about The Rated R Superstar
Seth Rollins reminded Edge about his Neck Injury that he had back in 2013 when Seth Rollins stomped the former world champion. The Architect reminded Edge that he has a career at stake as another neck injury would be detrimental to his life.
Seth dragged Edge’s family, stating that he won’t be sure what kind of future the WWE legend will have as a father and husband after the match. An infuriated Edge asked Seth to shut up as he felt Seth went too far when he dragged his family into this feud.
