Pat McAfee and Adam Cole are taking shots at each other as they build up to WWE NXT Takeover: XXX. McAfee shares a training video on his Twitter account in which he looks like he has been in the ring forever.

The event is just a few days away and McAfee and Adam Cole are doing their homework. This rivalry has now got personal after the previous week’s assault by the former NFL player.

In the previous edition of NXT, Adam Cole came out to support his Undisputed Era buddies in the main event. Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish faced The Imperium for the NXT tag team titles.

During the match, McAfee would take constant shots at Cole from commentary. The former NFL player would also call Cole a complaining elf.

Cole would then forget about the match and get into an altercation which brought out Shawn Micheals and Triple H. Amidst all the chaos and people around, McAfee would punt Cole’s head off his skull.

The following morning on GetUpESPN, Triple H laid a challenge to Pat McAfee for NXT Takeover: XXX. Check out McAfee’s reply below.

Pat McAfee sends a message to Adam Cole leading up to WWE NXT Takeover: XXX

A couple of days ago, Adam Cole sent a message to Pat McAfee through his Twitter account. Cole promised to hurt McAfee and make him regret his decision to come to the Pro Wrestling world.

A few hours ago today, Pat McAfee uploaded his training video and a little message for his opponent. The former NFL player is seen doing moonsaults off the top rope and a standing moonsault on the mat.

McAfee also did a senton from the top rope and a running leap to the top turnbuckle.

As per one of the definitions, an interview means a meeting of two people to formally evaluate, consult, or to discuss a matter. This wasn’t the case a month ago when Adam Cole went to the Pat McAfee show.

The beginning of this rivalry was nowhere close to formal. McAfee took shots and doubted the credibility of Adam Cole’s historic 403-day title reign.

We are just a few days away from NXT Takeover: XXX for the historic potential main event for the evening. Will Adam Cole prove why he was the longest-reigning champion or will every Pat McAfee allegation be true? Only time will tell.
