NXT had its Halloween Havoc this past week. The very first of its kind, the event saw a lot of interesting matches taking place. There was a cinematic match, a return, and a title change. Apart from that, there were some injuries too.

Injuries in NXT are so common these days that WWE started a separate segment for it. In the latest edition of the WWE Injury Report, we found out that the losers of the title matches suffered several injuries.

Damien Priest lost his North American title to Johnny Gargano in the first match of the night. With some help from an intruder, Gargano slammed a tombstone on Priest and threw him on the ground from an impressive height.

Johnny got the title, but “The Archer” got a minor shoulder injury. Priest is clear for in-ring competition but will appear after a couple of weeks.

In the other title match, Gargano’s girlfriend Candice LeRae was not so successful. She failed to win the NXT Women’s Championship and suffered from knee and back injuries after Io Shirai threw her off a ladder onto another. She will hopefully be medically cleared by next week.

Later in the night, Kyle O’Reilly confronted the returning Pat McAfee and New NXT Tag team champions Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan. During their confrontation, Pete Dunne made his return, and the four men assaulted O’Reilly.

Because of repeated attacks from steel chairs and the wrestling maneuvers, O’Reilly suffered from multiple injuries, including the back, hand, and face.

Finally, in the most intriguing match of the night, Dexter Lumis and Cameron Grimes fought each other in a Haunted House of Terror match. The cinematic match saw Grimes trying to escape Lumis through the house and Capitol Wrestling Centre.

However, all of his efforts went in vain as Dexter Lumis (and a bunch of zombies) cornered Grimes in the ring. Grimes finally passed out to Lumis’ submission. He suffered from upper-body injuries but is medically cleared to compete.
