CM Punk made a cinematic return to WWE at Survivor Series last year and quickly became the cynosure of the WWE main roster. Now, it seems that the Second City Saint is pushing another rousing star to the top of her game. Tonight on Raw, the unique T-shirt of the Best in the World made headlines tonight. With his feud against Drew McIntyre set to continue, all eyes were set on the Chicago-based star’s words. However, the former AEW star immediately cast the spotlight on an upcoming NXT talent by donning her merch.

The star in question is none other than the NXT talent Cora Jade.

Cora Jade is having a blockbuster 2024 in the WWE developmental brand and has taken herself to the rank of getting a main roster call as well. Punk, Jade’s biggest wrestling idol, knows it the best and hence was seen subtly advocating for it on the red brand show tonight. The 45-year-old came out in the ring donning a T-shirt with the NXT star’s name engraved on it, clearly sending a note to the WWE higher-ups whom they should bring up next. The gesture immediately received acknowledgment from the former NXT Women’s tag team champion.

WWE’s broadcasting partner, USA Network, also chimed into the tease in the comments.

For those unversed, the NXT female star was currently dating a professional footballer, Vincent Winey. After she abruptly broke up with Bron Breakker, the relationship with the soccer star came to light. On Raw last week, Winey stunned his girlfriend as well as the entire WWE fraternity by making his first-ever in-ring debut alongside Odyssey Jones. While it was the day of Jones showcasing his dominance over the 42-year-old crossport star, Winey’s WWE debut itself was a huge booster to his girl. Jade reacted to the unforeseen event with a smiling tear emoji.

However, coming back to Jade’s main roster fate, the NXT superstar will seemingly be cleared to wrestle soon after the long hiatus because of a grave TCL injury last year December. Probably by the next month, she will be fit to lace up the boots again. But whether she immediately gets a main roster call or not remains a subject to doubt.
