The last time that we saw Brock Lesnar was SummerSlam 2023. It has been over a year since his disappearance. There is no confirmation about the reason for his hiatus, neither is anyone sure when he will return to WWE. There were reports and speculations that the Stamford-based company distanced itself from the star due to his alleged involvement in a controversial lawsuit.

Now that there aren’t many reports floating around about the same, WWE has started referencing him again in some promos. Although we haven’t seen him in a long while, fans are using their ‘fantasy booking’ superpowers to put him against an NXT superstar.

Oba Femi, who is the reigning NXT North American Champion, has been dominating the title since his victory in early January this year. He was even present on Monday Night Raw on 08/12, a day before defending his championship at another weekly NXT show.

Later on, he uploaded a reel in which he was sitting with his belt. He announced one more successful title defense and demanded a ‘real’ challenge. This open challenge was for anyone on the NXT roster and also for the main roster stars.

The WWE universe seems to believe that this demand could be Oba Femi’s worst nightmare because Brock Lesnar might just be around the corner, waiting to strike him down.

Fans pitch Brock Lesnar to be Femi’s next big ‘challenge’

When the North American Champion asked for a challenge, fans accepted his wish and started commenting about who they wanted him to be up against. While some were merciful in their desire, others gave him Brock Lesnar to deal with. Somebody commented on a bunch of names, they would rather see Femi defend his title against. Since Brock Lesnar is out of the picture, they believe that Bronson Reed is someone who can also take care of the job, given how brutal he has recently been.

Here we have a legendary GIF of The Beast Incarnate, referencing one of his old ‘forklift’ moments. This was the moment that, quite literally, broke the squared circle. By inserting this GIF, the fan is recommending Lesnar to take control of the open challenge.

It is unlikely that The Beast will return to the ring all of a sudden only to face Oba Femi in NXT. This is because he is still not expected to come back anytime soon. However, hoping is all that fans can do right now. In this case, fantasy booking is also something that is under their control.

This is the second time somebody used a GIF in the comment section to list Brock Lesnar as a potential opponent for Oba Femi. In the clip, we can see the former UFC champion winking at the camera, showing how he would be more than interested in taking that championship away from Femi.

Somebody called out Lesnar for one of the things that he is infamous for. He has an absurd achievement of dethroning several African-American WWE Champions and a fan wrote this in the comments to warn Oba Femi in advance.
