NXT Take over: XXX was a tremendous show from start to finish. Despite that, it’s only the main event between Keith Lee and Karrion Kross that’s being talked about. That’s because the result of the match saw Keith Lee dropping his hard earned NXT Championship to Kross just 52 days after winning it.
What makes it worse is that Lee had vacated his North American Championship so he could focus solely on the big strap. We all expected Kross to have a strong showing. However, hardly anyone expected that he would pin the limitless one clean.
Even after that, you shouldn’t be very sad about the outcome. That’s because the black and gold brand told an intriguing story throughout this battle. Kross worked on the injured arm of Lee and used it to his advantage till the very end.

Lee was compromised because of this chink in his armour but still fought till his last breath. In addition, Kross came out looking like a monster and may just be the most dominant heel in the entire company (excluding Randy Orton, of course).
Sadly for Kross, news has emerged that he might have seperated his shoulder. If that’s true, he will have to vacate the Championship. That might stall whatever plans Triple H and co. have for the brawler.

As for Keith Lee, the rumor mill is rampant with discussion about a main roster debut. Lee is one of the best performers in the world and he will surely elevate whichever brand he fights on.
Fans are not happy with Keith Lee’s loss
NXT fans did not hold back from showing their disapproval. They believed that it was unfair to the talents of Lee. When someone is made a double champion, a better push is expected.
Despite that, the hopes of a main roster run kept the optimism alive.
Keith Lee becoming a double champ, vacating one title to focus on the NXT belt only to lose it a month later in his first takeover defense is so embarrassing. All this 30th Takeover shows is that NXT has fallen off pic.twitter.com/qlrsAVZEnj

Hey let's make Keith Lee a double NXT Champion, but he doesn't actually want to be one so he gives one belt away. And let's have him lose in his first defense for the other one, too, wasting absolutely everyone's time!
