“Nothing Against Brock Lesnar”: Wrestling Legend Cautiously Criticizes the Beast’s Current WWE Run

Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE last month. The Beast Incarnate has been absent from WWE television since his loss to Roman Reigns at this year’s WrestleMania. Fans are happy to see Lesnar back in WWE. But some individuals are not at all happy with his current WWE run.

Brock Lesnar’s former WWE rival, Kurt Angle, is one such individual. After his recent return to WWE, the Beast Incarnate once again got involved in a feud against Roman Reigns.

But during an interview with NBC Sports Boston, Kurt Angle mentioned he feels instead of competing against Lesnar over and over again, Reigns should wrestle against new talents.

Kurt Angle said, “Roman Reigns, he needs to wrestle some new talent, some NXT guys, upcoming talents that are very talented, that can match his skill.”

“I have nothing against Brock Lesnar coming back and wrestling Roman Reigns again. But it’s already been done. And you don’t want to keep doing that over and over again. You have to make new talent,” he added.

Well, this is not just Angle’s opinion. This is also the opinion of some fans who want to see Lesnar and Reigns face someone else rather than fighting against each other. And perhaps, Lesnar’s SummerSlam match against Reigns might be his last match against Roman Reigns this year.

Is Roman Reigns’ match against Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam the last match of their recent feud?

Since the last few months of 2021, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar have been involved in a fierce rivalry. The two have competed against each other quite a few times during this time. And after their match at this year’s WrestleMania, fans predicted it to be the end of their feud. But that is not the case now.

This rivalry will reach its conclusion at this year’s WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event. Lesnar and Reigns will battle against each other in a Last Man Standing match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Now, WWE has been advertising this match on social media as “One last match”. Thus, it looks like this might be the last time fans will see Lesnar vs Reigns in this year.
