Professional wrestling is a dangerous sport, and the game itself comes with its own list of hazards and probable injuries.
However, it does not stop budding pro wrestlers from playing the sport. Every other sport out there has some kind of injury related to it, and wrestling is just another sport. Although there exists several pro wrestling promotions, WWE is one of the safest options.
Over the years, WWE has experienced several injuries. However, with proper care and protection, the injured wrestlers returned safely. Daniel Bryan, Paige, Edge, and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins are some examples of modern incidents of major injuries.

Recently, former WWE Champion AJ Styles suffered a left leg injury during a house show at Hershey, Pennsylvania. As per fan reports, Styles had dived from the top rope to the outside, and soon sat down, grabbing his left leg/ankle.
AJ Styles had teamed up with The OC against The Judgement Day. However, the match had to be stopped earlier due to his unfortunate incident.

Soon after, the Phenomenal One sat down, grabbing his ankle. The referee present there threw up the ‘X’ symbol. The ‘X’ symbol is associated with any real life injury that happens to the WWE Superstar competing.

Soon after this, the officials came down to the ringside to take a look at Styles. He was later helped and taken to the back by Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
AJ Styles, even at 45-years-old, was a regular performer and had one of his best runs in 2022. He had last suffered an injury back during the 2020 Royal Rumble, after taking a spear from Edge.

AJ Styles is a legend of the sport, and has had one of the most successful careers all over the world. However, the tough weekly live shows of WWE started taking a toll on Styles’ body, and it eventually broke down after not being able to take the pressure.

The fans present there were able to witness this horrific incident take place. Styles is an important figure in WWE, and was involved in a storyline with The Judgement day. However, fans now need to wait, and observe to see where this goes.
