CM Punk returned to WWE after more than 9 years. His return to the Stamford-based company left everyone in shock, especially after months of wild rumors and speculations. Now that more than two months have passed since Punk’s release from AEW, Tony Khan was asked to share his thoughts on the wrestler’s return to his old home. But the CEO wasn’t ready to respond.
Tony Khan can’t talk about CM Punk
After All In 2023, the whole internet was talking about the altercation that CM Punk had gotten himself into. Following his backstage brawl with Jack Perry, and the media coverage behind it, Khan took the step to fire the former UFC star.

Now more than two months after his release, Punk was seen again in WWE at Survivor Series. When asked to give his thoughts on the same, Khan denied commenting on the issue and gave his reasons.

The CEO of AEW recently sat down in an interview with sports journalist Steve Hermon. When the commentator asked him to talk about Punk’s WWE return, Tony Khan replied, “Can’t talk about that, nor do I think it’s the time or the place. But I appreciate you asking & I’m very excited about AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.” He further added, “Not to dodge or duck your question. It’s something I just can’t legally talk about.”

Khan didn’t explain the ‘legal’ reasons restricting him. Could it be that the two also had an agreement between them? It’s unsure. What do you think?
