Several pop musicians are currently on different tours. Levi’s Stadium is also caught up in the middle of this musical fest. The city of San Francisco saw various top artists performing at the Levi’s on tour. Even sensations like Beyonce and Taylor Swift gained attendees in huge numbers; 58,000 and 50,000 respectively. However, none of them comes even close to what one pop star was able to bag.
Breaking all records, the star’s fans were present in vast numbers inside Levi’s Stadium. The Home of the San Francisco 49ers hosted one of the star’s Mathematical tour concerts recently. The result was precious for everyone, the hosts, the fans, and the star, as he broke even WWE’s record.

In 2015, WWE made the 49ers proud by hosting their biggest annual event on their home ground. WrestleMania 31 in California saw a total of 77,000 people attending the show live inside the stadium. That day WWE set a record for the most number of attendees inside the Levi’s Stadium ever. Even ‘Swifties’ on 28th August and ‘The Bey Hive’ on 30th August were unable to break this record. However, it appeared to be a piece of cake for Ed Sheeran.
During his concert at the Levi’s Stadium, Sheeran received a total of 80,000 attendees present live at the venue. This broke all the records the stadium had ever seen. Moreover, the songwriter single-handedly tackled a WrestleMania show.
In a statement, Al Guido, the president of the San Francisco 49ers even expressed his gratitude toward fans. But it might not be a cause of concern for Vince McMahon. The reason behind it is the fact that his previously owned company keeps on breaking its own records.
So, even though Ed Sheeran was able to break WrestleMania 31’s record, the Stamford-based company set up a new milestone, making it nearly impossible for the world to break.

Breaking its own record isn’t anything new for the wrestling promotion. However, a few weeks ago, WWE subtly displayed its supremacy in front of competitor AEW through their sales. Tony Khan’s company held its biggest PPV ‘All In’ at Wembley Stadium this August. Since its pre-booking, AEW was allegedly able to gather 80,000 attendees for its event.
However, WWE flexed its power when WrestleMania 40’s ticket sale sold over 90,000 tickets on just the opening day in Philadelphia. So, even before Ed Sheeran’s arrival at Levi’s Stadium, WWE had already moved past setting yet another milestone for the world to look up to in awe.
