Ricochet and Brock Lesnar had a brief face-off prior to Royal Rumble 2020. Paul Heyman, as usual, was trying to hype Lesnar, when Ricochet interrupted him and claimed that he was not scared of ‘The Beast’.
Now, as everyone knows, Brock Lesnar does not bother himself with petty call-outs. He only shows his skills in the main events of big pay-per-views. However, this time, Ricochet went a step too far and asked Lesnar if he was afraid of him.
This is when he struck a nerve, and Lesnar entered the ring to put down Ricochet. He delivered a brutal low blow on him and then walked away with the WWE belt over his shoulder.

It wasn’t wise of Ricochet to call out ‘The Beast’. Unfortunately, he did, and Lesnar showed him why it was a mistake.
Brock Lesnar and Ricochet battled at Royal Rumble 2020
Coming to Royal Rumble 2020, Ricochet entered the ring in the Men’s match with a plan in mind. He entered the match as number fifteen, and Drew McIntyre entered at number sixteen. Lesnar was already in the ring as he was the first entrant into the match.
Lesnar’s attention was on McIntyre, and Ricochet seized the opportunity to nail Lesnar with a low-blow. McIntyre didn’t pay much attention to the threat posed by Ricochet and looked to eliminate the bigger problem first. Taking advantage of a wounded ‘Beast,’ he eliminated Lesnar with a vicious claymore kick.
Unfortunately, right after this elimination, McIntyre eliminated Ricochet too. Brock Lesnar and Ricochet had their battle at WWE Super Showdown 2020, and it took Lesnar approximately a minute to defeat him.
He delivered three suplexes consecutively and then put him down with an F-5.

The feud between Lesnar and Ricochet was a minor attempt by the company to give a slight push to Ricochet. Once in a while, WWE puts a monster against a seemingly smaller pro-wrestler. Even when this feud started, everybody in the WWE Universe knew that Ricochet could never be put over Brock Lesnar.

Even though Ricochet played a role in eliminating Lesnar, it did little good for him.
In fact, the entire time that WWE put him in a feud with Lesnar, his only role was to make Lesnar look like a real threat before Mania. The only person who came off looking good in this story was Brock Lesnar.
