Not Dwayne Johnson or John Cena, Dave Bautista Once Credited This WWE Legend for Giving Him Key Advice Before Jumping to Hollywood: “Don’t Get Caught in the Trap”

However, another inspiring personality is Stone Cold Steve Austin, the wrestler who lived a legendary life in WWE and then soon turned into an actor and TV personality. With all his experience over the years, he guided another former wrestler in his career in acting. 

A wrestler who then touched the mark of prominence through his incredible characters projected on-screen is none other than Dave Bautista.

The former WWE champion himself revealed about the man who advised him before he was to enter the Hollywood industry. Not only that, but he thanked Austin for giving him the heads-up needed before being an actor.

A time came in the life of the sic-time world champion when he had to start it all over again. During those days as well, the advice of Stone Cold never left his ears. In his recent interview with GQ, the 53-year-old mentioned the enlightenment he received from The Texas Rattlesnake. 

He said, “Before I left WWE, Stone Cold Steve Austin pulled me aside and said, ‘You’re going to get offers for horrible scripts. The money will be tempting. Don’t get caught in that trap.'”

Once he understood the wise words of The Stunning, his selection of projects took him to another peak. If one looks at his performances till now, Batista has done diversified roles under the direction of renowned filmmakers.

In the interview, The Animal also talked about the most he has ever spoken in a film. He hinted towards A Knock at the Cabin, a movie that is about to be released in March 2023. Besides this, the Ex-WWE star has played recurring roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The breakthrough that his career needed was also through Guardians of the Galaxy, after which the actor skyrocketed to stardom.
