One of the biggest families in the pro wrestling world is the Anoa’i family. It also happens to have the longest relationship with pro wrestling as the family enters its fourth generation in the wrestling world. The family has given birth to several wrestling superstars, including Rocky Johnson, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rikishi, Roman Reigns, The Usos to name a few. The current rising star from the family is Dwayne Johnson’s daughter Simone Grace aka Ava Raine.

With her being a part of NXT, it is believed that the return of her distant aunt could help her provide a boost in her career.

Raine’s aunt could be her mentor

On the last episode of RAW, fans were shaken as they saw the return of Savelina Fanene, aka Nia Jax. Her return was quite unexpected, the same as that of her distant cousin, Dwayne Johnson.  She made her entry in the ring while Rhea Ripley was defending her title against Raquel Rodriguez. Nia Jax did make a statement when she entered the ring, where she bashed both Rodriguez and Ripley, cementing her dominance in the ring.

Nia Jax was released from WWE in 2021. Since then there were no speculations about her return. Rumors about a hiring freeze were also doing rounds. Due to this, fans were not expecting anyone’s return. However, her return has brought an end to the hiring freeze. Another thing to be noted is that she was signed over a month ago before making her return. After her return, she is making waves as even Rhea Ripley is not safe from her.

With Jax being such a prominent figure, she also happens to have an amazing skill set. Could this mean she could help her niece by giving her a boost?

How Nia Jax could help Ava Raine

Starting off her career in 2014, Jax was a part of the NXT brand. After having a successful career for two years, she made her transition to the RAW brand in 2016. She was included in the main roster and happened to have a pretty happening career. Jax was even a part of WrestleMania 33. Later on, she won the RAW Women’s Championship title followed by her promotion to the blue brand of WWE. 

After spawning such a fruitful career, Jax knows the tricks on how to quickly climb the ladder. This could really help Raine in the long run. Also on a personal level, they both share an amazing bond. They both can be seen posting clips and photos on social media together. For Raine, having a former women’s championship title holder to mentor her would provide a push. This will also help her quickly climb the ranks.

With Raine yet to make a name for herself apart from being Johnson’s daughter, having a monster heel such as Jax mentor her could let her come into her own as a wrestler. Who knows, maybe the two could team up to form a formidable duo. Especially with Jax’s history with NXT offering a fun opportunity for the wrestler to make a comeback

It would be really interesting to see Nia Jax make a surprise visit at NXT to greet her niece and make it official that she will be mentoring her.
