An action-jacked SmackDown tonight came to an end with an insane brawl involving The Bloodline and The Judgement against Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, John Cena, LA Knight. Also, the post-event dark match between the two sides paved the way for a potential War Game at Survivor Series. However, the storyline ostensibly calls for another addition in the teased brawl of November’s PLE.
No, we are not talking about CM Punk here. While there has been already huge hype regarding the ex-AEW talent jumping ship to his old promotion in his homeland, Chicago, we must not ignore the possibility of another marquee name to show up in the process.

It’s been a long time since fans saw Randy Orton in action. After a long time away from the ring, The Apex Predator finally seems to gear up for a return as he is medically cleared to wrestle as of now.
Also, WWE reportedly working on a creative plan for him. All the situations clearly hint toward a massive Survivor Series surprise for Orton fans. The Bloodline sidelined Orton and as such storyline- wise it would make sense for him to return to help Cena and others.
If it happens, he very likely join forces with The Champ to fight against the Bloodline and Judgment Day during the next month’s PLE.
storyline makes PERFECT sense. BL took him out, he’ll be the final man in the Wargames match, then will get his one-on-one with Roman down the line. pic.twitter.com/hRvI71974a

Now, only time will give the final nod to The Viper’s fan.
Orton’s unfinished business with the Bloodline might be his driving force to return to Survivor Series. But we can’t totally buy the idea, especially after what happened at Fastlane tonight.
Randy Orton dismissed the hope of an early return tonight at Fastlane
The last-minute prediction card for tonight’s showdown was running wild with the hope of The Viper’s return to the lore.
He was anticipated to return as a heel and have some issues sorted out with the Main Event Jey Uso. Orton’s brutal history with the Usos made it very likely for him not to be sold on Jey Uso’s face turn. So, the anticipation made sense.
However, all went in vain as the Legend killer chose to break hearts again at Fastlane by not appearing after an unexpected SummerSlam’s absence.
Nevertheless, on the flip side, it could be a more clear hint that he’s coming back at Survivor Series.
