Seth Rollins has had a rough few months as he deals with a partial meniscus tear and a torn medial collateral ligament. The Visionary decided to begin a recovery without going under the knife. As a result, he wrestled twice at WrestleMania 40. However, he ended up having surgery on his meniscus injury after the event and has now taken a leave of absence from WWE programming. But this does not mean that he will stop making headlines as he somewhat broke the internet.

The former WWE World Heavyweight champion donning a new look, making him almost unrecognizable to the public drew the chatter. However, not all responses were positive as he incurred some negative sentiments from the fans.

The Architect’s new sleek look comes to light

This Saturday, Seth Rollins reappeared in public during the red carpet of the Kentucky Derby with Becky Lynch. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion sported a refreshed look with his shaved beard, something that is unprecedented for wrestling fans. Rollins was also wearing a hat, so it’s unknown if the change of look has taken it a step further with a haircut or not.

But this surely caught the attention of fans as they took no time to storm to social media to share their reactions to the new look.

While there were some praises, most agreed that his long hair and beard have become an iconic part of his look. It’s like having Hulk Hogan without the long blonde hair. Here are some of the reactions of fans who were left disappointed with the new avatar.

One fan remarked that he has hopes that The Visionary didn’t make the drastic choice to go bald too. We don’t have the answer yet to that question as the WWE star put on a hat. But considering his penchant for pulling up flashy avant-garde looks, we are not holding our breaths.

Another fan couldn’t help but call the look too retro.

Rollins surely looked unrecognizable to these WWE fans with this drastic change in his looks.

One fan wondered if Rollins chopped his hair as well. But surely to look seems ‘weird’ to the fan. Interestingly, this is the same look the revered wrestler donned during his younger days in FCW and Ring of Honor. Nevertheless, its suffice to say that the WWE Universe has a preference for the way they want Rollins to look.

But the new look shouldn’t be a major concern for fans as the Visionary plans to stick with the WWE for a long time now. Seth Rollins has renewed with the Stamford-based promotion. The new agreement is a multi-year contract and with significant money, which has been the trend in recent renewals. A source from Fightful who is close to Rollins and WWE stated that the company was not going to let him go. So his renewal was a priority. In the 2024 WWE Draft, he was selected by RAW.
