The Bloodline has changed since Roman Reigns succumbed to a defeat at WrestleMania XL. Since then, a new aura has settled in the group, allegedly led by Solo Sikoa. Since then, the group has been joined by Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, known for their time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling wrestling in tag teams under the name Guerrillas of Destiny (G.O.D).
But do you know that the WWE had the duo under their radars for a long time? And credit has to go to Triple H for granting the WWE Universe the sight of a new Bloodline. And this led to a recent mention on SmackDown where the WWE took a jibe at former boss, Vince McMahon.

During the latest edition of the Busted Open Podcast, hosts Jonathan and Justin talked about the recent creative decisions of the WWE. And that is when they were talking about the new Bloodline. During the conversation, the hosts mentioned a particular spot in SmackDown where the commentator Corey revealed that the WWE had the G.O.D on their radar for a long time. But Vince McMahon set barriers that prohibited intense violence, something Triple H allows in the WWE. Thus allowing Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa to bring their NJPW style to the WWE.
They said, “You heard this, this week on WWE TV. I believe it was Corey talking about this on Smackdown saying that, Hey, these guys, they’ve been on the radar for WWE for a long time. But because we’re a publicly traded company, we couldn’t have that language or couldn’t have that violence in WWE.”

They further added, “That just opens up a big horizon of story right there that no one knew. I mean, that’s something that’s completely different than what we’ve heard before where it’s like, WWE’s wanted these guys in the company. But you can’t have that type of violence. You can’t have that type of these rebel rosers in WWE. We can’t have it. So now they’re part of it. It’s almost like Solo Sikoa in the bloodline are breaking through to the other side, a barrier that they could not cross in the past under Vince.”
