Deonna Purrazzo wanted to become a school teacher
Speaking with Renee Paquette on her “Oral Sessions” podcast, Purrazzo admitted that after getting released by WWE from NXT in the spring of 2020, she wanted to quit wrestling and revert to her regular life.
She also confessed that she immediately thought of getting back to school, where she used to teach history lessons before wrestling full time.

And I was like, ‘okay, I’m definitely going to go back to school.’ So I immediately sent in applications to different schools that were online, and I was like, maybe I’ll just be a normal person again. So when I was released in May, that was the first thing. I’m going to go to school and I’m going to be a history teacher maybe!” Deonna said.
