With an amazing triumph over the Kansas City Chiefs, Tom Brady won his seventh Super Bowl. He and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 at the Raymond James Stadium (the location for WrestleMania 37). Brady, who cemented his legacy as one of the greatest of all time, attracted the attention of another legend; Ric Flair.

Ric Flair takes a dig at Tom Brady

The Nature Boy is a legend in his own right. ‘Naitch’, who has won World Championships in the NWA, WCW, and WWE, remains one of the biggest names in pro-wrestling. If basketball has Jordan, football has Brady and soccer has Pele, wrestling has Ric Flair.

The two-time Hall of Famer posted a tweet, taking a cheeky dig at Tom Brady after his historic win. In an image with himself clad in a suit and tie, he wrote, “Still has nine more world championships than Tom Brady.”

This was a classic rib from ‘The Dirtiest Player in the Game.’

Flair’s wrestling career in WWE ended in 2008 when Shawn Michaels super-kicked him into retirement. Unfortunately, TNA ruined a perfect WrestleMania moment by signing Flair and having him compete. He wrestled his last match in 2011 against Sting, on TNA’s IMPACT tapings.

Tom Brady still has a few years left in him. The 43-year-old quarterback has proven that sometimes age triumphs over youth. Though Brady may have a few years left to increase his Super Bowl tally, breaking Ric Flair’s record seems like a long shot, even for one of the best players in the NFL.

What are the Nature Boy’s current exploits?

Ric Flair is still a big presence in the WWE. His daughter, Charlotte Flair, is a nine-time Women’s Champion and is destined to break his legendary record. Currently, the father and daughter are in opposing corners.

Flair has kicked up a dalliance with Lacey Evans, who is apparently using Ric to play mind games with his daughter. The Nature Boy has cost his daughter two wins against Evans on Raw, before siding with the latter indefinitely. On the recent episode of Raw, Charlotte’s anger got the better of her as she got herself disqualified in a single match against Evans.

With the win, Evans heads to Elimination Chamber to face Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship. If Lacey wins the title, Ric Flair’s latest exploit might’ve been a supremely successful one.
