The Nightmare Family continues to spread wings with another new member on the card. After an electrifying Fastlane PLE went off the air tonight, the WWE Universe got their new Undisputed tag team champions in the form of Cody Rhodes’ and Jey Uso. Now, Cody Rhodes’s sister, Teil Rhodes, cemented the newly minted duo’s relationship with one marquee announcement.

Cody Rhodes, being a hardcore family man holds a genuine connection with his sister, which is pretty evident from his sister’s several comments about Rhodes’ wrestling career. Now, she gave a grand greeting to his brother’s co-fighter for the day at Fastlane via Twitter.

Fastlane 2023 has already gone down in history due to its perfect mix of tightly booked matches, a few hooks, and surprises. One of the major draws of the night was Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes winning the tag team gold taking down the most villainous Judgement Day. The duo set the stage on fire at Gainbridge Fieldhouse tonight with their magical deliveries of moves to bury the opponents. They finally ended up jumping on the bandwagon of JD McDonagh’s fatal mistake and picked up the win.

Seeing the top-tier performance from Jey Uso throughout the match, Rhodes’s sister elevated him to a great height by taking him to the famous Nightmare family. She wrote on Twitter, ”We welcome Jey into the Nightmare fam fam #WWEFastlane #newchampa.”

For those unversed, the Nightmare Family is a faction that has its roots etched in AEW. Dustin Rhodes, Lee Johnson, Brock Anderson, and Gunn Club are the already existing members of the family.

Teil Rhodes also had her say against The Rock potentially sabotaging Cody Rhodes’ childhood dream.

But ahead of that, Johnson sat with Pat McAfee to have a candid conversation regarding a wide range of topics including his past and future in the Stamford-based promotion. In one twist, The Rock revealed that he was supposed to face his cousin Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 and not Cody Rhodes. Then he stated that he’s open to fighting Reigns at WrestleMania 40 regardless.

With the rumor of the dream match gaining traction day by day, it didn’t sit well with Teil Rhodes. She wrote on Twitter, ‘Looks like I should have saved my wrestling twitter outrage for today 😉.”

It came as a subtle dig at Johnson. Now, only time will say what WWE has in store for both Rhodes and Johnson in the near future.
