Nia Jax in the Bloodline—Is this the ultimate WWE power move?

The Bloodline has recruited a handful of fresh faces in the last few months. Ever since Solo Sikoa ensued a revolution amidst Roman Reigns’ absence, the Bloodline has changed its shape and very nature. Starting from Tama Tonga to Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu, each of the new entrants showcased extreme valor and skill in taking out the opponents with ease. But given how a civil war theory could be brewing with The Tribal Chief’s rumored SummerSlam return, the wrestling faithful has tried to decipher the missing pieces of the puzzle. The main question revolved around who could accompany Reigns in his quest to retake the mantle apart from The Usos.

While a few names, including Hikuleo, have come up, Nia Jax has offered her cent on the matter. She suggested entry was not restricted to males of the Samoan dynasty but female stars could also join the revolution.

Nia Jax has always displayed her proud heritage to her Anoa’i roots. However, WWE has not employed her services in the Bloodline faction, despite fans vying for it for a long time. The Irresistible Force faced a tumultuous time in WWE in her first stint as the promotion sacked her in 2021. After having a cameo appearance at Royal Rumble 2023, the 40-year-old finally returned to the fold. She stunned the WWE Universe, bringing back her power inside the ring during the 9/11 edition of Raw last year.

Although initially she gave chase to Rhea Ripley and the gold on her waist, she then turned her attention to Bayley. Her efforts have been rewarded as she has a SummerSlam match lined up against the WWE Women’s champion. But deep down, the typically ‘unsafe’ wrestler still thinks of a Bloodline inclusion someday.

Aligning to the recent storyline perspective, Jax sees her and a few other Samoan females as a fit. During the recent edition of the Battleground podcast, the Queen of the Ring noted, ‘‘I think well, obviously, it’s always a thing right because, like right now, like I am the female, like Samoan Bloodline in the business right now like I feel as though, and then we have Tamina, and then we have you know married in, Trinity or Naomi I apologize, Naomi, um so there is that option.” Nevertheless, Jax expressed her comfort in the positions she finds herself in as she reiterated her positive momentum.

‘I feel as though I’m in a really good trajectory in the women’s division, like showcasing to our culture what we as Samoan women can do,” the 40-year-old admitted. However, moving ahead, she might not side with the Tribal Chief even if she joins forces with the faction someday and here’s why.

Nia Jax has had her fair share of disputes with Roman Reigns

Nia Jax has revealed some real-life tension between her and Roman Reigns in the past. Jax found herself in a backstage argument over a table spot with Reigns during Survivor Series 2020. Also following their match, she hinted that the need was alive by saying she doesn’t even recognize Reigns in an IG questionnaire. The Samoan Woman belonging to the Peter Maivia lineage also believed that she didn’t get any backup from her family members and had to carve out her path in the business all on her own.

Now, if she chooses to let her long-standing frustration out by teaming up with Bloodline 2.0, it won’t be a shocker. Also, her inclusion will record the first-ever female allegiance for the faction. This would perfectly align with the ongoing experimental nature of Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline.
