Earlier in the night, WWE revealed that several superstars were not medically cleared to compete at Clash of Champions 2020. In the Kick-off show, WWE announced that Nikki Cross, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax will be absent from tonight’s event.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between Jax & Baszler and The Riott Squad will be addressed on Raw tomorrow. Bayley will reveal the status of her title defense later in the evening. However, Nia Jax was not very happy with the news.
WWE had issued a statement, saying that her team was “medically uncleared.” After the news, Nia Jax said that her tag team partner was pregnant, followed by an emoji of a pregnant woman.

Nia then retweeted a photo by WWE and called out the company for lying to the WWE Universe about the reason for their absence.

Alongside Nia and Shayna, Bayley’s challenger Nikki Cross also could not compete. Needless to say, the pregnancy announcement sounds like a cruel joke by Jax.

Did WWE ban Nia Jax due to the COVID-19 Outbreak?
As we reported earlier, WWE might be taking all these precautions to prevent an outbreak in the Amway Center. There are already reports of an outbreak in the Full Sail Campus of WWE NXT and in the Performance Centre.
According to reports, the second outbreak happened at an NXT Superstar’s party last week. WWE issued an official statement that said, “individuals who tested positive will quarantine for 14 days, receive medical care, and then will only be cleared when they are symptom-free and test negative. Additionally, extensive contact tracing has taken place and other individuals have been placed in 14-day quarantine, and will then only be cleared after they test negative.”
To ensure maximum safety, WWE didn’t allow any staff from NXT or Performance Centre at the Thunderdome in Orlando.

Nia Jax’s shock and frustration are justified as she didn’t even know that her team wasn’t competing. Shayna posted a picture(now deleted) of her new gear just hours before the PPV.
Hopefully, WWE officials will clear the situation on Monday Night Raw tomorrow.
