Ever since the recent changes to the top brass of WWE, fans have been getting new surprises daily. Since the legendary Vince McMahon left the company, there have been a few changes in the company. And now WWE has signed a very experienced person from the sports world in one of its top positions.

Dan Ventrelle, former President of the Las Vegas Raiders, has joined the world of professional wrestling. He will be taking up the role of executive vice president of talent for WWE. In his new position, Ventrelle will answer directly to Triple H. The Las Vegas Raiders hosted the SummerSlam last year. Ventrelle left a seemingly good impression on WWE officials during the event.

“As a lifelong fan, it is an honor to join the world’s premier sports entertainment company,” said Ventrelle. “I am inspired by the vision that Stephanie, Nick, and Paul have for the future and excited to further the commitment to deliver exceptional talent to the WWE Universe.” He added further.
John Laurinaitis was previously the Executive Vice President of talent relations. Laurinaitis was released from his duties after his alleged involvement in incidents of sexual misbehavior that also allegedly included Vince McMahon, the former CEO and board chairman.

Fresh change in WWE
Vince McMahon departed from his roles as chairman, CEO, and head of creative in July after acquiring WWE from his father in 1982. WWE has not been bashful about tapping into the sports world in its search for CEOs in recent years.

Most significantly, in 2020, the business appointed Nick Khan, a former sports broadcasting agent, as president and chief revenue officer. He has been co-CEO ever since Vince McMahon left. The addition of Ventrelle to WWE will be the most recent in a string of recent personnel changes the sports entertainment juggernaut has made.

After McMahon retired, his daughter Stephanie McMahon assumed the roles of co-CEO and chairwoman, and his son-in-law Triple H is now in charge of creative and talent.
