Dwayne Johnson has actually excelled in many dimensions of his life, including as a WWE legend, Hollywood actor, and business executive. Thus, he is an inspiring figure. The People’s Champ, however, has a few ambitions he was unable to accomplish, including competing in the NFL. Many believe that DJ has always wanted to be in professional wrestling, but this is untrue; instead, he wanted to be an NFL player.

Meanwhile, he recently posed with an NFL superstar who is perhaps the best defensive tackle in sports history. The Rock discusses one of his ongoing regrets from the time he wanted to be an NFL star.

Johnson recently responded to a remark on Twitter from a user who praised him for bringing the NFL Academy and shared a picture of him posing with Aaron Donald. DJ expressed regret in response to that post, saying he wished The NFL Academy had existed while he pursued his career in NFL.

For those who are unfamiliar, the NFL Academy is a facility that helps aspiring young players, ages 16 to 19, stand out on the field. It offers them a place where they may learn from the best professionals and significantly improve their professional competence.

Given this, The Rock said he wishes there had been a platform like this as it would have allowed him to fulfill a boyhood dream that had been shattered. Notably, one of DJ’s ambitions of working out at the NFL facilities was fulfilled.

There aren’t many people that have Dwayne Johnson’s level of commitment to training and working out. He also benefited from his physique in his action-packed movies. DJ has frequently been spotted working out with famous athletes like Lindsey Vonn. Similar to this, The Rock recently uploaded a video of his training with 300lbs Beast, Donald.

Donald has established himself as possibly the best defender ever to play the sport. And like Johnson, Donald’s father has always taken him to the gym since he was a youngster. So both are equally enthusiastic about working out. Recently on Twitter, The Rock shared the post by NFL Alumni Academy which has him posing alongside Aaron Donald. He wrote, “ I wish I had the @NFLAcademy when I was coming up!! Excellent program & institution for players (like me, #54) who needed more time to develop.”

Additionally, Johnson and Donald exchanged autographed jerseys after the training. The Rock was astounded when Donald, however, subsequently showed his championship ring and Lombardi Trophy.
