Starting as a football player, Johnson could not make a name for himself in the big leagues. Soon after, he transitioned his career into that of WWE and later moved to Hollywood for becoming an actor. As luck would have for him, Johnson soon became one of the biggest Hollywood stars ever.
However, leaving football for greener pastures did not mean The Rock went completely out of touch with the sport. He remained in touch with it and even stars in the television show Ballers, and is simultaneously the co-owner of XFL, which was bought from Vince McMahon.

Recently, Dwayne Johnson got in touch with Carolina Panthers after their long losing streak. Panthers were active in NFL’s longest running, losing streak with nine games, however, they overcame this and won 22-14 against New Orleans Saints.
When Frankie Luvu of Carolina Panthers was asked about how he would celebrate his win, he answered he would drink tequila and spend time with his family. When the reporter asked about his tequila preference, he answered that his favorite was Teremana Tequila. Dwayne Johnson is the owner of Teremana Tequila.
Soon after this response, Johnson took to Twitter to congratulate Luvu and his team. He also mentioned how he is in touch with his team and would send Luvu some tequila from his brand.
Appreciate you my uso and keep kickin’ ass.
Congrats on the win!

Johnson himself is a football fan and seeing the Panthers end their losing streak and name-calling Johnson’s tequila brand was a wholesome moment for him, which led to Johnson congratulating him. Although, The Rock had previously stated his dream was to win the SuperBowl with New York Giants; he seemed equally happy about Luvu and Panther’s win.
