Everyone has their own dream WrestleMania moment. For some it might be their first match, for some it could be defeating a megastar or legend, and for some it’s winning a title. However, for Austin Theory, it’s retiring John Cena.

During a conversation with Matthew Connell on the Alternative Sport, Connell asked if Theory would rather retire Cena at WrestleMania or win the tag team titles with Cena at WrestleMania.

The WWE Raw Superstar had to think about it for a while, but he knew what he wanted.

“That’s a tough one man. They both sound amazing, but I think for Austin theory, yeah you’d have to really not see Cena anymore. I’d have to retire him. I’d have to do it, man.”

John Cena’s retirement match is going to be a popular one. Almost everyone in the WWE Universe knows Cena, so Theory needs to be worth that match!

Vince McMahon is possibly helping Austin Theory prepare for the match

Anyone who has been following WWE Raw knows that McMahon is grooming Theory. The Big Man is healing Austin figure out the ways of the business, how to take advantage of Superstars, and how to grow himself.

Considering Vince McMahon is involved in this storyline, the endgame will have to be something extremely huge. And, what’s bigger than retiring John Cena?

Of course, this is a prediction and the storyline with McMahon and Theory can go in any direction. But, it would be exciting to watch Vince McMahon’s newest protege retire WWE’s Champ.

John Cena is yet to announce his return

Prior to returning at Money in the Bank 2021, The Champ revealed that he hadn’t yet had his last match and was excited to come back. Upon returning, he began a feud with Roman Reigns.

Cena took on Reigns at SummerSlam in a losing effort and bid the WWE Universe a fond farewell afterwards. However, he did promise to come back.

That being said, John Cena hasn’t announced when that will be. Neither has he revealed a time nor a place. But, one thing is for sure – John Cena is yet to have his last match in WWE. But, will it be against Austin Theory or someone else?
