Roman Reigns at SummerSlam—Is this the comeback WWE desperately needs?

The new Bloodline 2.0, led by Solo Sikoa, continues to wreak havoc on Friday Night SmackDown! And all this while its leader continues to chase the Universal title that the faction lost at WrestleMania. A goal that could be achieved in just one week. However, they can also bring in additional titles, as on tonight’s edition of the Blue brand, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu also got a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships.

The match will take place on the next episode of the show, where the new Tribal Chief will also have one last face-off with Cody Rhodes before their title match at WWE SummerSlam. The WWE is surely trying its best to hype up the feud. Leaving no stone unturned to keep the fans engaged, and that includes tonight’s final moments of the show, when Sikoa responded to the request of the Undisputed Champion of WWE, in a promo where he also had some words to share for Roman Reigns.

He said, “In one weekend, The Bloodline will handle family business. If Roman Reigns has a problem with that, you know where to find me. You can end up like Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and Cody Rhodes and acknowledge me.” For weeks now, it has been rumored that Roman Reigns will return sometime around SummerSlam. Based on Solo Sikoa’s latest statements, it seems increasingly likely that the original ‘Tribal Chief’ will make his long-awaited return at the biggest event of the summer to continue a storyline that could lead to a new Samoan civil war.

Have an interesting take?

Solo Sikoa, on the other hand, too wishes to settle his feud with Roman Reigns. Since he has taken over his faction while Reigns was away from the promotion, he cannot fully claim the throne unless he beats him one-on-one. In order to build up to this fight, Sikoa makes sure that he calls out Reigns on every show. Something that has all but confirmed Reigns’ return.

With these call-outs, one has to admit that the Bloodline surely has established itself as a menace in the Blue Brand. With their earlier victims being Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and Cody Rhodes, fans cannot wait to see them take on the Head of the Table.

However, according to some fans, Reigns won’t be coming alone. Instead, he might bring a returning Bloodline member such as Jey Uso along with him. Or maybe, just maybe, a new superstar such as Hikuleo, who has just signed a contract with the promotion!
