Is Jacob Fatu the missing piece the Bloodline needs to dominate WWE again?

Jacob Fatu has not been in the WWE since SummerSlam and right now there is a lot of buzz surrounding Samoan Werewolf. So far, the word has been that he was wounded during SummerSlam, and fresh recent sources have confirmed that this is correct. According to the latest rumors, WWE has planned this injury as they did not want to expedite a face-off between Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns.

According to Dave Meltzer, the current Bloodline scenario is a foreshadowing of what will happen in the future. Right now, Roman Reigns is a big thing in the industry, and everyone needs to sell well after his maneuvers. On the other side, Jacob Fatu has been portrayed as a monster that no one can stop. Because these two factors do not complement one other, WWE has determined that the best course of action for the Bloodline at this time is to avoid this confrontation and make it happen later. This confrontation might yet take place soon, given Fatu’s portrayal as a monster that cannot be stopped by even injuries.

The report stated, Things have remained quiet on Jacob Fatu. They don’t want him mixed in with Reigns at this point or selling big for him, and everyone has to sell big for Reigns right now. So he’s off due to being injured, but they aren’t making a big deal of his injury either as he’s supposed to be a monster. So they are low-keying their angle. They’ve kept totally quiet as to whether he’s actually hurt or what the situation is, but most if not all of this is a work, and his not being around and intermixing with Reigns was all planned

Jacob Fatu can lose the tag titles without really losing them

As you are aware, when a group wins a Tag Team Championship, any two members of that faction may defend the championship. This is known as the free bird rule, and we’ve seen several groups employ it over their championship reigns as champions. It appears like WWE intends for the Bloodline to employ this in the future.

The same reports mentioned above claimed this too as they say that WWE intends to apply this regulation to the Bloodline in the future. This implies that, while Jacob Fatu won the title fair and square if his group loses, he will also lose it. This is sad since the storyline prevents us from seeing what Fatu could have done with the gold.
