WWE’s post announcing Jade Cargill’s signing got over 14 million views

WWE fans have suffered through despair last week as 21 superstars were let go from the roster as part of the budget cuts. The biggest shocker being Dolph Ziggler. Hence, when WWE announced that they signed Jade Cargill, the fans’ sadness changed to excitement.

Jade Cargill was one of the top stars in AEW. She made her debut in 2020 and left them in 2023 after her contract ended. During her 3 year stint with the company, she won the inaugural AEW TBS Champion. Cargill had the longest reign for any AEW championship with 508 days. In addition to all these accolades, she has a huge fan following that has obviously traveled over to the WWE.

Not only that, but she has already started making new fans out here in the WWE in just the first week of her getting signed. That is evident from the fact that when WWE announced the signing of Cargill, the post received 14 million views and still counting. That’s a huge number for a star who has yet to create a name for herself in the WWE.

This has been the 2nd most viewed post of 2023, 1st being Jimmy Uso turning on Jey Uso at SummerSlam with 29.9M. Even The Rock’s return to SmackDown and Jimmy Uso super-kicking Roman Reigns at Night of Champions couldn’t get views like hers. This says a lot about Cargill’s popularity if she can get more attention than the two best stars the WWE has ever produced.

But as Jade Cargill prepares for her entry into the WWE, fans are still speculating about who she will start feuding with.

Jade Cargill might have her first feud with Damage CTRL’s Bayley

The WWE universe has warmly welcomed Jade Cargill. As can be seen in the amount of views her social media posts have been receiving.

But Bayley from Damage CTRL was the first wrestler from WWE to welcome Cargill. She did so on Twitter while also telling her to keep a close watch on her next match on SmackDown.

Cargill replied rather cheekily by saying that her friends had already warned her about Bayley. We are still to see how Bayley reacts to this, but this definitely has given rise to some friction.
