RAW’s season premiere at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma on the 16th of October featured a stacked card. Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes squared off against Finn Balor and Damian Priest for the main event of the night and the Undisputed Tag Team belts were on the line.
The new champions, who earned their belts at Fastlane on October 7, lost them in brutal fashion. The Judgment Day members have a lot to thank Jimmy Uso for their victory.

The pair of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso have been busy. In just nine days, they have already had three title defenses. While they emerged victorious the first two times, the duo fell short, albeit due to outside interferences, on the recent episode of RAW.
Balor and Rhodes started off proceedings as The American Nightmare kept control of the match from the onset. But Priest was quick to make amends, getting back control by punishing Jey Uso. The heel stable soon resorted to their old tried and tested methods as Dominik Mysterio lent his support to make it a 3 vs 2 encounter.
But Sami Zayn’s inclusion leveled the playing field. Just when it looked promising for the American Nightmare and the junior Uso twin, Jimmy Uso appeared out of nowhere and flattened his sibling with a brutal superkick. With half the job done, Balor completed the formalities by pinning the 38-year-old to regain the tag team titles.

This also set up a lip-smacking contest between the two brothers and fans will now be eagerly waiting for the upcoming episodes. Jimmy Uso, also likely used the opportunity to get even with his brother, who had used the same move to punch his ticket out of The Bloodline and SmackDown in August.
What’s next for the Uso brothers?
Expect things to heat up in the next few weeks. Jey Uso isn’t likely to forget the October 16, 2023, humiliation in a hurry. Even though his older brother got even, Jey Uso is likely to retaliate.
The superkick is also likely to have laid the platform for a singles clash between Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso. While Main Event Jey Uso has been feuding with his own bloodline for months now, he hasn’t had a commissioned match against his twin. But The Usos has been open about a singles feud and it looks like the creative team is planning the same.

If they do get Jey and Jimmy Uso facing one another, the stage is also likely to be a big one and given that WrestleMania is a little less than six months away, the Lincoln Financial Field- the venue for WrestleMania 40- could host the bout.
This, however, is a speculation and fans should wait for an official announcement from the WWE to start marking their calendar. That said, a contest featuring the two evenly matched superstars would likely to attract good numbers. Now, it’s all up to those involved to take the final call.
