Vince McMahon is arguably one of the most infamous personalities in the world of wrestling. Always neck deep in controversies, McMahon found himself at the receiving end of another controversy, as a WWE legend slammed WWE with an allegation.

WWE superstars often earn the majority of their payments through royalty payments for their merchandise and other items. However, former nWo member, and WWE legend Kevin Nash recently revealed a major secret related to McMahon and his royalty payment.

What did Kevin Nash reveal about his disputes with WWE?

One of the greatest wrestling personalities of all time, Kevin Nash recently revealed how he has found himself at the end of trouble with WWE. His recent troubles with the company have made him fall into a dispute with the Stamford-based promotion.

During an episode of his podcast, Nash revealed how his royalty payments have decreased. He revealed how WWE owes him and other superstars money and is in a financial dispute with the promotion. He said, “I didn’t get a dollar on NWO. It should be 150% of what I normally get [in the next period], and if it’s not I guess I’ll be putting a piece of paper in Ari’s [Emmanuel’s] hand.”

However, Nash further revealed that although WWE decreased their royalty payments to Nash, they tried to make up for it, by including his character in video games, and action figures.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer made his stance clear that he does not care about the percentages, and instead wants the royalties, the company has been owing him for a long period. Nash even threatened them with a lawsuit, and if this issue isn’t resolved quickly, things might take an ugly turn for WWE.

Vince McMahon once went out of his way to solve a royalty issue for Stone Cold Steve Austin

Back in the late 90s, Stone Cold Steve Austin was one of the hottest properties in pro wrestling. He was an instrumental figure for WWE in defeating WCW in the Monday Night Ratings War. Thus, his presence meant the world to Vince McMahon.

When Austin complained to the boss about receiving an insufficient royalty payment, McMahon went out of his way and offered Austin one of the highest royalty checks of all time. It became a landmark moment in the entertainment industry.

When this is compared with Kevin Nash’s situation, Big Daddy Cool might feel a lot more inferior. Despite being a solid figure for WCW, Nash never received the same kind of treatment in WWE.
