When we watch the weekly shows or pay-per-views, we sometimes overlook the immense efforts that go behind the scenes. Wrestling is equally about sports as it is about entertainment. A week following Royal Rumble 2021, WWE released a series of photographs establishing the same.
The recently released series of photographs gives fans an insight into the busy life of an event day. WWE initially provided the fans with a sneak peek, releasing four pictures.

The first picture shows Liv Morgan getting ready before her Royal Rumble match. The makeup artist is putting on Morgan’s iconic eccentric makeup on her.
Morgan came in at number 13 and eliminated Billie Kay with her tag team partner, Ruby Riott. But Morgan was soon eliminated by Kay’s former tag team partner, Peyton Royce.
The next photo is a candid of Roman Reigns ahead of his ‘Last Man Standing’ match with Kevin Owens. With his official ‘head of the table’ t-shirt and shorts, Reigns looks determined ahead of the match.
WWE releases behind-the-scenes images of Royal Rumble winners Edge and Bianca Belair
In all four of the sneak-peek pictures, the most striking ones are of the eventual winners. There are two polar opposite photos of Edge and Bianca Belair.
In his candid, Edge is seemingly conversing with someone that seems like Paul Heyman. The ‘Rated-R Superstar’ is also wearing a Bret Hart t-shirt. This is just moments before Edge would make history at the Royal Rumble.
Bianca Belair’s picture, on the other hand, is contrasted to Edge’s ‘calm-before-the storm.’ Belair’s picture shows how she was stormed by the women’s locker room following her Rumble victory.

In the picture, we see Natalya, Carmella, Ruby Riott, Ember Moon, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, and Rhea Ripley huddling up around Belair to congratulate her. You can see the entire photo-series on WWE’s official website.
WWE often portrays the Superstars as larger-than-life. Hence, when fans see them performing inside the ring, they tend to forget that outside the superhuman demeanor, all the Superstars have human emotions.
