One of the darkest events that occurred in the history of the United States was 9/11. Many people lost their lives during the incident. After this frightening event, we saw the first major gathering on an episode of WWE SmackDown. Fans saw stars like The Rock, Triple H, Kurt Angle, etc. paying tributes to the people who lost their lives.

Recently, on 9/11 Triple H and Stephanie McMahon shared a post remembering the people who lost their lives 21 years ago. They honored those people sharing a post on Twitter.

The Game wrote, “We will #NeverForget those we lost on this day 21 years ago. Remember them. Honor them.”

Moreover, the current WWE Chairperson Stephanie McMahon shared a long tweet about the same. Through this tweet, ‘The Billionaire Princess’ extended her support to the families of the people who lost their lives in the incident.

The current Co-CEO of the famous wrestling promotion wrote, “When faced with adversity 21 years ago, we banded together as a nation to support & surround one another in love. May we, & future generations, never forget those men, women & children who lost their lives that day & the families they were taken from too early. #NeverForget911”

Thus, Stephanie McMahon, along with extending her support, also talked about the nation coming together 21 years back. She hoped the future generations too would come together when in need.

About a month later, after the incident of 9/11, many WWE stars visited Ground Zero. It is the former site of the World Trade Center. Stars like Triple H, Austin, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, etc paid a visit. In a video shared by WWE, fans saw Hunter sharing his experience about it.

The Game said, “As you were driving into the city, there was a moment in time where for the first time you smelled it, that was a very sobering moment. … When you saw the look on the people’s faces that were going through what they were going through, that somebody cared enough to go where they were, and thank them, shake their hand, take a moment, anything. It was incredible.”

The SmackDown after 9/11 in 2001 was one emotional and memorable one. Moreover, the patriotic feeling Lilian Garcia brought by singing the American National Anthem is still remembered by everyone.
