The Miz is one of the top heels in WWE right now. Over the past decade, his mic work has been one of the best and his in-ring abilities have improved by margins. In the current roster, The Miz is a locker room leader and a veteran of the game. Something very similar to NBA great, LeBron James. The LA Lakers star has had a very illustrious career.

The Miz was recently present at NBA Today where he discussed the possibilities of James joining the Cleveland Cavaliers during his last stint. The Miz himself hails from the state of Ohio. Back in 2014, James had joined the Cavs for four years and had a very successful tenure with them. He left Cleveland to join the LA Lakers in 2018. It was rumored that he would be leaving the Lakers after the 2021-22 season.
At the show, The Miz was asked if he wanted LeBron James to sign an extension with the Lakers, to which he replied, “I would love LeBron to come to Cleveland, because when (the) Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cleveland Browns or the Cleveland Guardians are a good team, it brings the entire city up.”

When LeBron James left the Cavs for the Lakers, The Miz was totally devastated. He took to Instagram to showcase his grief.

LeBron James has played 11 seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers out of his 19 total seasons. He started in 2003 and stayed till 2010. He again returned in 2014 and stayed till 2018. Speaking about this, The Miz had to say, “Cleveland is such a big but a small city that an impactful player like LeBron James coming to the youth of Cleveland Cavaliers can take them to the next level.”

While on the show, The Miz also had his set of opinions on James and his son, Bronny James, who will also be coming to the NBA. The Miz said, “Don’t you want him to start where you started and take him to the promised land? Let’s bring (son) Bronny a championship in Cleveland, like you did, LeBron! We want you. We need you. Please come to Cleveland and just bring us another championship.”

Bronny James is the eldest son of LeBron James and plays American High School basketball. He currently attends Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles. Bronny is currently 17 and would soon be looking to make a move into the NBA like his father, LeBron James.

LA Lakers and LeBron James have not yet signed a contract and his extension is still pending. Whereas, Cleveland Cavaliers have also not ruled out the possibility of James’ return to their side but only time shall tell, whether he returns or not.
