“My Wife Thought…”: 53-Year-Old Dave Bautista Once Revealed How Equation With Former Female WWE Star Strained His Marriage

Batista is one of the most popular wrestlers during his time at the company. The Animal before his prime was a part of the villainous stable, ‘Evolution’, which also consisted of Triple H, Ric Flair and Randy Orton. Slowly but steadily, Batista transformed his career into one of the most successful in the roster.

The Animal has numerous accolades to his name, starting from Championships to Royal Rumble. Apart from being a talented wrestler, Batista also sported an impressive physique. Currently, Batista is a retired professional wrestler and is pursuing his highly successful acting career.

Apart from his professional life, he also has a close personal life of his. The 53-year-old Batista was married to Glenda Bautista from 1990 to 1998.After his marriage with Glenda ended, he married Angie, where the marriage lasted from 1998 to 2005. He was recently married to Sarah Jade from 2015 to 2019.

However, it was during his time with Angie Bautista that he was also rumored to be a relationship with WWE Women Superstar, Melina. One of the most successful names on the roster, Batista had to fight his way through to the top. It was during his early years at the company that rumors started about him dating Melina.

However, The Animal could not care less about his relationship with Melina. The mid-2000s saw him getting into a relationship with Melina while still being married to Angie.

However, in his autobiography ,Batista Unleashed,” he revealed that Angie thought that he cheated while being with her.

He wrote that his wife believed that he was sleeping with Melina while being married to her, which he stated was not true.

Batista wrote, “It wasn’t true, but it did make me feel guilty about being friends with her. Since then, as I’ve said, Melina and I have gotten closer and our relationship has become physical.” 

The former World Heavyweight Champion further stated that he did not care about what others thought. He is good friends with Melina, and loved her very much.

Batista’s real life feud with John Cena once saw him getting real with him

John Cena and Batista never shared a good relationship with each other, and were always at each other’s throat. Once Batista became way too honest, and personally attacked John Cena and his life choices.

The Animal stated that he did not care about winning championships or his win-loss record. But the only thing that mattered to him was entertaining the fans. However, he would personally attack John Cena when he mentioned that he did not care about being booed, not was much into selling T-shirts.

John Cena is, however, known for always being a babyface and not having a heel turn in his career. He is also known for his colorful WWE Merchandise.
