Passion is the fuel that drives you to give 100% in the thing you love to do. Such is the case for World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. From a very young age, he dreamed of becoming a wrestler. He scratched and clawed his way up to the WWE roster over the last decade.

Even the hardships felt sweet to him because of the results they yield. Therefore, he didn’t mind working extra, putting in additional effort, and spending more time on his job. However, the scenario was different for his ex-girlfriend. Because of his passion for wrestling, his ex-girlfriend suffered a great deal.

Seth Rollins didn’t feel comfortable at his own home

‘The Visionary’ recently appeared in the latest edition of the IMPAULSIVE podcast hosted by Logan Paul and Mike Majlak. During the podcast interview, he mentioned he was addicted to his job. He said, I was addicted to the grind. I really was. I loved it.” Therefore, whenever he used to go home, he would feel out of place as he would miss being in action.

He added, “When I would go home, I would feel out of place. My girlfriend at the time, I just remember feeling bad for her because I was like I felt so foreign when I was home. It wasn’t comfortable. The first day I was like, ‘Oh! I’m home.’ By the next day, I was like, ‘All right, got to go, got to go. What’s the next thing? Where are we going?”

During his time at home, he would long to return to action as wrestling gave him peace of mind and happiness. He would feel like a foreigner at his own home because he had made the wrestling ring his home. That is why he spent most of his time between the ropes and never complained about the extra hours he had to put in.

Rollins had a hectic schedule at the beginning of his career

During the interview, Rollins also gave details of his jam-packed schedule in the initial stage of his WWE career. When he first began his WWE journey in 2012, he wrestled for 5-days every week. He would wrestle on Friday, Saturday, Sunday for house shows and Monday for live Raw, and Tuesday for SmackDown taping.

Apart from that, he also had to give time to media appearances. He was non-stop traveling on the road. Therefore, sometimes it even felt pointless to go home because he would get only a few hours to spend with his family. But all the hard work and constant struggle finally paved a path to stardom when he won his first accolade in WWE.

History was made on July 1, 2012, when he became the inaugural WWE NXT Champion after defeating Jinder Mahal in the finals. After 11 years, he again wrote his name on the history books after he became the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions.
