How long a pro wrestler can keep up with getting bumps in the rings? Turns out the answer to that question lies somewhere around 70. It’s always just one last fight or one last show for these superstars. The 73-year-old WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair played his last match a couple of months back and in his podcast, he expressed his desire to be back in the ring. It turns out Flair isn’t the only one who didn’t want to give up at 70.
A few years younger superstar than Ric Flair is also scheduled to make a return to the pro wrestling business. The Big Time Wrestling announced the return of 69 years old Ricky Steamboat, who is also known as ‘The Dragon’. Steamboat will be fighting a possible tag team match in Dorton Arena in Raleigh, NC on Sunday, November 27th.

Ricky Steamboat’s health issues
A few months back, another wrestling veteran, Jake Roberts, also known as The Snake talked about Steamboat’s health in his Snake Pit Podcast.“To be quite honest with you, I know Steamboat’s having [health] issues right now,” Roberts made the statement answering a fan’s question on the aftermath of DDT.

Fans were worried after the statement from Roberts. The Dragon appeared on the Highspots Superstore live and cleared the rumors about his health.“I just want to assure everybody that I don’t [have health issues]. I’m 69, I just have the normal stuff – little arthritis in the shoulders and knees [from] years of wrestling. Do a physical every six months, and blood tests every six months, and my doctor is surprised at how well everything is. My cholesterol, blood pressure, liver, and all the stuff on the inside that you can’t see [is healthy]. My doctor says I’m like a 35-year-old.”
