It was judgment day for Otis on Friday Night SmackDown. Tonight’s courtroom drama saw the return of WWE legends and Hall of Famers.
The first legend we saw in the courtroom was Hall of Famer Ron Simmons, who acted as the deputy to the judge. The second legend was the judge himself – WWE Hall of Famer, JBL. We also saw former SmackDown General Manager, Teddy Long.

While many legends came to the courtroom, there were some current Superstars as well. Miz’s partner John Morrison was there and testified against Otis as a witness.
We then saw the Master of the 619, Rey Mysterio, in the stand. He spoke in favor of Otis, saying he won his briefcase fair and square.
The Raw women’s champion Asuka made her presence felt. She spoke in her native Japanese, but through her expression, we could make out that she supported Otis.

Last but not least was Otis’ partner Tucker. He called Otis sensitive, and Miz and Tucker then started arguing about Otis neglecting the briefcase. However, after all the efforts, it still wasn’t enough for Otis.
Otis will defend his Money in the Bank briefcase at Hell in a Cell
After Otis, Morrison and Miz put their case forward, and all witnesses contributed their bits. Judge JBL was all ready to give his verdict to both the parties.
He announced the verdict in favor of Otis, claiming his antics were actually the essential ingredients of a WWE superstar. However, Miz turned the tables in a stunning surprise.

He asked to submit one last piece of evidence, which JBL allowed. The judge then opened the briefcase sent by Miz. Looking at JBL’s past and the smile on his face after opening the briefcase, there was money in it.
