Much Like Dwayne Johnson, Cody Rhodes Fulfills the Dream of a Real-Life Fighter Billed as WWE?s ?Number 1 Fan?

WWE has many fans that would do anything to get a chance to see their favorite wrestlers live. While many of these are fulfilled by the fans themselves, some require special attention. Today?s story is about one such fan whose dream of meeting his favorite wrestler Cody Rhodes got fulfilled most memorable way.

When it comes to being the WWE?s number 1 fan, many claim to be it. But some voices are never heard unless they get a little help. One such fan was lucky that a loved one reached out to make his dream come true.?

Cody Rhodes surprise WWE?s ‘number 1’ fan

Ahead of WWE hitting Newcastle, Cultaholic Wrestling ran a competition to allow fans to win an opportunity to watch the show live. The competition was simple, answer who your WWE Champion was. While fans poured in their entries, one story captured the heart of the moderator. It was Kristy Louise who sent in a message about her son Heath.?

According to her, Heath was the champion of her life as he underwent numerous surgeries at the age of eight. Heath suffers from Hypermobility and needed multiple surgeries to align his legs properly. Cultaholic saw this as an opportunity to make a young fan?s dream a reality. They contacted Kristy and visited Heath with WWE toys and card games.

Once they confirmed his favorite wrestler, he got a special message from the man himself, Cody Rhodes.?

Kristy and Heath were taken in a private limo to the venue, where they got the best seats in the house and a very memorable one-on-one with ?The American Nightmare.? Rhodes met Heath backstage during the show, and the two shared words, as Rhodes signed an autograph, and took pictures.

Even Rhodes was moved by the inspiring story of Heath and shared words with his mother. Health and his mother ultimately had the best night at the WWE Newcastle show.?

Cody Rhodes was following in Dwayne Johnson?s footsteps

What Rhodes did was in line with what Dwayne Johnson did a while back. Themba Gorimbo, a UFC fighter from Zimbabwe, moved to the US with just $7 in his account. Making his UFC debut, he lost to AJ Fletcher in June 2023. The next month he won against Jordan Williams at UFC Vegas 73. When he shared his story on social media about his financial issues and love and ambition for MMA, he caught the attention of The Rock.

The Rock met Gorimbo in an emotional encounter in Miami. The Rock also advised Gorimbo and spent time with the athlete. It is reported that The Rock also helped finance Gorimbo, a fully furnished home in Miami. This act of kindness brought the UFC and WWE fans together to praise The Rock for his gesture.?
