Paul Heyman has cemented his legacy in the WWE by being the manager of two of the biggest stars, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. While the argument can be made for CM Punk, he never had the tenure with Heyman as Reigns and Lesnar. Heyman has seen ups and downs with these two megastars, from being an Advocate to The Beast to the Wise Man to the Tribal Chief. But what does he really think about them?
Heyman enters this year’s WWE Hall of Fame following WWE SmackDown. Roman Reigns will be the inductor. However, The Wise Man of the Bloodline chose to highlight Brock Lesnar for his underrated trait in the ring.

Ahead of the Biggest Night in Professional Wrestling and his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, Heyman sat down with John Clark. Talking on the NBC Sports Philadelphia show, he touched upon the impact that ECW had on Philadelphia. Being the home of WrestleMania this year, the city holds a special place for the revered manager. The host took this chance to ask about his top three workers in the ring. Heyman said, “Roman Reigns. If you watch his body of work, Brock Lesnar, who is probably the most underrated, underappreciated worker I’ve ever seen.”
Prior to working with Reigns, Heyman worked for Brock Lesnar since his debut. Being the Advocate for The Beast from 2014 to 2020, Heyman considered The Beast underrated and underappreciated in the business. Despite being billed as The Next Big Thing and getting a massive push right from the start and even ending The Undertaker’s streak, according to Heyman, Lesnar never got his due credit.

When working with Reigns, Heyman proved that with the right talent, a great long-term overarching storyline can be put in motion. The Tribal Chief has been the WWE Universal Champion for over 1,300 days. Moreover, The Bloodline storyline has earned the stature of being the top story in the company. Nevertheless, The Bloodline manager did not outright name a major figure as his third entry in the list. However, he did mention a former member of The Bloodline and talked about his evolution.
While reserving the third spot, Heyman talked about potential candidates. He said, Whether it’s a veteran like Jey Uso, who is just finding himself now in his 30s after being part of the greatest tag team in the history of this industry.” This was a rather shocking line from The Wise Man. Under the orders of the Tribal Chief, The Bloodline has taken out Jey in the past. At Mania XL, Jey and Jimmy will be facing off in a brother vs. brother match. This will be the third sibling match in Mania history.
